Day 1 of amazing new books.  These are ones in the four hundreds (Language) and eight hundreds (Literature and Rhetoric).  What's not to love with titles like Little Envelope of Earth Conditons, Ecstasy and Terror, and Long Live Latin?

Introducing the public to the new library computer catalog system.

They use to offer gifts for setting up accounts such as these pans and knives from American Savings and the second part of the advertisement below has some ideas for savings that are still valid today such as making payments to your savings after paying off something on installments.

Sunday Randomness #245 : a little leap to Las Vegas for a few days part 9 (last part!)

And what would be a trip to Las Vegas, NV without some shopping?  We just window shopped other than treats and experiences like the wax museum but there was something for almost anyone who is into retail consumption.  Like re-imagined movie figures...

There are lots of oxygen bars if you feel the need to breathe regular air oxygen infused with scent. 

 We found quite a few fun items at this shop with the dragon.

Thanks to all the many friends (and a couple of very specific ones) who helped us plan before and during our trip.  They helped us to have a great experience and we ended up seeing and accomplishing more touristy things than we originally planned.  Who knows?  We might even go back someday since Las Vegas has a lot to offer to everyone and not just to the gambling clientele.
