Read to your children, your parents, your companion, your pets, your plants, yourself.

Mr. Trelease encourages reading aloud not just for vocabulary but to develop a love of reading and a way to explore different ideas and the lives of people outside of our individual experiences. He even encourages high school teachers to read to their students to help them develop into life-time readers-not just school-time readers.
Jack prefers picture books (as you can see from the picture!) but you can read aloud any book-just start reading!

I think your cat is very cute! Does he read the classics much or is he more into juvenile literature. Also, since he lives in the greater SLC area and is in fact a feline, I assume that makes him a Cougar fan!?! Sincerely, Jacks Rexburg fan club
Jack is actually a U of U fan but he's willing to allow the Cougars to win against all other teams. He likes picture books best because he seems to like hearing the pages turn as well as hearing the words but he will listen to other books. I tried reading a recipe book the other day and he did jump up on the bed to listen to some of it but then he got bored and jumped back to the floor.
